This 13-day Nepal itinerary blends cultural discovery, adventure, and hands-on wildlife conservation. Beginning in the Kathmandu Valley, travelers explore historic cities and UNESCO World Heritage sites before enjoying white-water rafting, a stay in the traditional village of Bandipur, and a scenic trek to Ghandruk in the Annapurna region, followed by time in Pokhara.
A key highlight is a multi-day experience in Chitwan with the Nepal Tiger Trust, where participants engage directly in conservation efforts and gain insight into protecting endangered species like the Bengal tiger. The journey concludes back in Kathmandu with final sightseeing and a farewell dinner, offering a well-rounded and meaningful exploration of Nepal.
Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu (1370m)
Evening: Trip introduction & A typical Nepali Welcome dinner at a traditional

Day 02:
Full day sightseeing tour of Changunarayan temple and Bhaktapur City
Overnight at Kathmandu Guest House

Day 03:
Sightseeing tour of Patan City, Swayambhunath and Kathmandu City
Overnight at Kathmandu Guest House
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Day 04:
Drive Kathmandu to Charaudhi (84kms/3 hrs), raft Put in point for a day
raft (3- 3 ½ hrs). After raft, drive to Bandipur (52 kms / 2 hrs).
EVE: Walk through the ancient Newari settlement.
Overnight at The Old Inn or similar, Bandipur
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 05:
Drive Bandipur to Kimchi via Nayapul (125km/4 hrs) and hike to the
famous Gurung village of Ghandrung (2010m / 1 ½ - 2 hours).
Late PM: Take a tour of the village and visit the Gurung Museum
Overnight at Himalaya Lodge or similar in Ghandruk

Day 06:
Drive Ghandruk to Pokhara via Nayapul (827m/3 ½ hrs drive)
PM: Visit Brindabasini Temple and walk along the lake side bazaar.
Overnight at Temple Tree Resort & Spa or similar, Pokhara

Day 07:
Drive Pokhara to Chitwan (Meghauli) (154 kms / 4 hours).
PM: Meet team from Nepal Tiger Trust for program discussion
Overnight at Siddhartha Wildlife Retreat or similar, Chitwan.
