Tigers were photographed shortly after initiating camera trapping in the Daunne Devi Buffer Zone and its associated community forests, including Madar Baba. Within a week of setting up the camera traps, both male and female tigers were captured on camera in Madar Baba Community Forests. The approach of Nepal Tiger Trust involves collaborating with community forestry guards to monitor tigers and sharing tiger information with local user groups.

Nepal Tiger Trust senior technician Baburam Mahato is actively sharing tiger photos and information with the women's user groups of Baguban Village.

He is also educating the children of Shree Laxmi Basic School in the same village about tigers.

By providing the latest information on tiger presence and activities, we aim to help neighboring communities make informed decisions when accessing community forests for resource harvesting. Such efforts are crucial in minimizing conflicts between humans and tigers.
